Job Description

Affiliated Foods is hiring a Marketing Data Analyst in Amarillo, TX to help turn marketing and business data into insights that support customer engagement and measurable marketing results. In this onsite role, you will collect, analyze, and report on performance across campaigns, promotions, loyalty activity, and sales trends to inform decision-making.

What you’ll do

  • Collect, organize, and analyze marketing, sales, customer, and promotional data.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring marketing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, promotional events, digital marketing initiatives, loyalty programs, and other marketing activities.
  • Use data analysis to identify trends, customer purchasing behavior, market opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations aligned to marketing strategies and business objectives.
  • Verify marketing data accuracy, consistency, and integrity prior to reporting and presentation.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing performance reports for leadership.
  • Create charts, graphs, dashboards, and presentations that communicate analytical findings to management and business partners.
  • Support forecasting of promotional performance, customer trends, and sales opportunities using historical and current data.
  • Find opportunities to automate reporting workflows and improve reporting efficiency using business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, calculations, and reporting procedures to support consistency and accuracy.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Capability to create clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand reports.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and recommend practical solutions.
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Location and pay

  • Work location: In person (Amarillo, TX)
  • Pay: USD 17 per hour
