Senior Data Analyst
Job Description
Support Institutional Research & Reporting at the University of Oklahoma by designing reporting environments, improving HR data sets, and resolving complex data integrity issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage master datasets, including creation, updates, commissioning, and decommissioning across enterprise systems.
- Design and administer the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
- Advise stakeholders on data warehouse reporting requirements and proposed revisions.
- Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and resolve complex reporting and data issues.
- Lead data integrity and normalization initiatives across institutional systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 48 months of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field.
- Will accept 48 months data analysis or business analysis experience in lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree for a total of 96 months experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Statistics, or a related field.
- 48 months experience in institutional research or comparable data analysis activity.
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and composition skills.
- Ability to produce reports and complete work within deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Proficiency using SAS, SQL, or other Oracle query tools.
- Proficiency in Snowflake.
- Intermediate research skills and experience using data analysis techniques.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport quickly with staff.
- Strong initiative to solve problems.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
