Customer Insights Data Analyst

The Customer Insights Data Analyst role sits at the crossroads of data science and business storytelling, translating complex VOC data into clear recommendations and building dashboards that illuminate decision-making for diverse clients. This remote position in Virginia offers the chance to work with cross-functional teams and shape how clients respond to their customer experiences.

Compensation

• Salary: USD 80,217 - 114,596 per year

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences, market research, business analytics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, market research/voice of the customer experience, or related quantitative analysis

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Craft compelling narratives that address business questions using voice-of-the-customer and other customer experience data
• Understand clients’ customer experience opportunities and plan analyses that answer what to do and why
• Consult with clients to identify key business questions and data needs, translating these into analytic insights
• Present data-driven insights clearly to non-technical audiences
• Prepare charts, tables, and diagrams (primarily in PowerPoint) to support analysis of survey data
• Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a plus
• Expertise in statistical concepts such as key driver modeling and segmentation
• Communicate technical data science concepts in business terms
• Working knowledge of data manipulation and analysis in R or Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and within clients’ organizations
• Own client discussions and delivery of presentations
• Operate independently with limited supervision to complete assigned tasks
• Propose innovative approaches to data analysis and problem-solving
