Data Analyst - Philanthropy

The Center for Philanthropy at Carle Health is seeking a Philanthropy Analyst to convert fundraising and donor information into actionable analytics for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics covering fundraising performance, donor engagement, portfolio activity, and campaign outcomes
• Assess giving trends, donor behavior, and campaign effectiveness to surface opportunities and support strategy
• Contribute to forecasting, goal setting, KPI development, and performance measurement
• Produce reporting for leadership and board presentations, including benchmark reporting and strategic planning initiatives
• Support AHP benchmarking and philanthropy performance analysis
• Act as a subject matter expert for the Center for Philanthropy donor database and related technologies
• Develop and maintain database standards, workflows, and best practices
• Monitor and improve data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems
• Support data governance initiatives and operational consistency across regions and programs
• Identify automation and technology opportunities to simplify workflows and improve user experience
• Lead technical projects from planning and testing through implementation, training, and rollout
• Stay current on evolving technology solutions and recommend enhancements when appropriate
• Partner with vendors, consultants, and technology providers to maximize system capabilities and data flow

• Experience with CRM systems and data management best practices
• Organizational and project management skills
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with PowerBI
• Experience with donor databases, reporting platforms, and analytics tools; Raiser's Edge preferred
