Job Description

Citi’s US in-house creative agency is seeking a marketing data analyst to translate performance results and market signals into stronger creative work.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and forecast market trends to inform marketing creatives
  • Partner with internal clients to gather performance results for in-house agency deliverables and report findings
  • Collect competitor work samples, identify key takeaways, and share insights with the team
  • Design and roll out a data collection and analysis system, including baseline development
  • Identify customer insights from performance result analysis to guide copy and design decisions and improve engagement
  • Lead lunch and learns with the in-house team and marketing partners on marketing best practices
  • Deliver concise, comprehensive presentations of key learnings to senior-level audiences
  • Apply strategic thinking to connect business needs to recommended execution through creative deliverables
  • Distill information from multiple sources and synthesize it into a single, clear narrative
  • Work with internal clients to understand strategy behind key messaging
  • Manage time effectively across multiple active campaigns while maintaining high-quality output

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication/Advertising, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 8–10 years of related experience (digital agency environment preferred)
  • Exceptional reporting and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Tableau
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or R is a plus
  • Strong ability to report data and metrics comprehensively using analytical apps and dashboards for clear visualization and insights
  • Ability to extract customer insights from creative performance data to inform strategy
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders
  • Expertise in analyzing market trends and performance data to strengthen campaigns
  • Ability to collaborate with key business stakeholders, understand central strategy, and help execute effectively as part of a team
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to make complex data clear
  • Independent, self-starting, and strongly organized
  • Eagerness to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong deadline urgency
  • Tech savvy and able to adapt quickly to new technology and assist team troubleshooting
  • Financial services experience is a plus

  • Annual salary range: USD 114,720 - 172,080
