Job Description

Lockheed Martin Corporation seeks a Treasury Business Process Data Analyst to support Capital Markets and Treasury operations, applying automation and AI to streamline workflows and accelerate strategic decision-making. This role is based in Bethesda, MD with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Treasury team to learn end-to-end processes and work with the Finance Automation Solutions Team (FAST) and the Lockheed Martin AI Center (LAIC) to design and implement AI-assisted workflows.
  • Execute capital markets activities, including settlements, valuation, accounting, forecasting, reporting, and ensuring SOX compliance.
  • Grow expertise across Treasury finance disciplines while identifying opportunities to automate processes, workflows, and reporting.
  • Leverage the Quantum Treasury Workstation to support operations, enhance reporting, dashboards, and overall capabilities.
  • Contribute to quarterly Treasury Tech Talks by proposing ideas, delivering training, and promoting AI and ML discussions.
  • Maintain the Treasury AI Use-Case list and partner with FAST to translate ideas into implementable solutions.
  • Monitor tasks and metrics, applying AI tools to convert complex activities into streamlined, repeatable processes.
  • Own documentation, training, and adoption strategies for new technology workflows.
  • Apply lean process improvement and reengineering principles to evaluate automation opportunities.
  • Lead proactive AI-enabled process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and delivering AI or automation solutions that comply with governance, standards, and security requirements; assess existing AI toolsets, develop proofs-of-concept, and document solutions aligned with LM architecture and compliance framework.

Compensation

Salary: USD 63,800 - 112,470 per year

Requirements

  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience: At least 1 year in corporate treasury, finance operations, FP&A, or a technology-adjacent finance role.
  • Technical skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, multi-axis charts, Power Query, complex workbooks, and import/export workflows.
  • Communication: Ability to craft compelling PowerPoint narratives for senior executives.
  • Personal attributes: Independent self-starter, results-driven, clear communicator, continual learner, and effective cross-functional collaborator.
  • Analytical ability: Strong investigative skills to identify data issues, diagnose root causes, debug complex problems, and resolve inconsistencies.
