Job Description

In the Marketing & Customer Analytics organization at PNC Financial Services Group, this role focuses on turning digital marketing data into measurable growth. As an individual contributor based onsite in Cleveland, OH, you will build analytics solutions, dashboards, and models that help optimize campaigns and improve customer experiences.

What you will do

  • Lead hands-on analytics work across digital marketing campaigns such as paid search, SEO, social, email, and programmatic to identify trends, optimize performance, and maximize ROI.
  • Use advanced SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise platforms including Hadoop and Teradata, as well as cloud-based systems.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Adobe Analytics to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and refine analytical models such as attribution models, customer segmentation, and customer journey analytics to support personalized experiences across channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists, product teams, and finance stakeholders to define KPIs, translate business questions into analytical frameworks, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests, geo lift studies, and other experimentation strategies to ensure analytical rigor in optimizing campaign performance.
  • Provide strategic guidance and subject matter expertise on digital marketing analytics best practices, emerging techniques, and optimization opportunities.
  • Mentor junior analysts informally by sharing technical knowledge and analytical approaches to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Lead analytics processes across multiple functions or business units, using complex analytical tools to create data-driven solutions and serve as a mentor to more junior employees.
  • Consult on tool and strategy implementation, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product or solution development; determine the optimal analytic approach and support development, implementation, and enhancements.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and continuously optimize analytical solutions for business leadership, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and provide recommendations to key business partners and senior management, or communicate conclusions from complex analytics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Key qualifications

  • Proven success as a digital marketing analytics professional with significant hands-on experience as a senior analyst or lead individual contributor.
  • Deep technical proficiency in SQL including the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance across large-scale enterprise data platforms (including Hadoop, Teradata, Spark, Impala, or similar).
  • Strong dashboarding and visualization expertise with Tableau or Power BI.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and familiarity with at least some platforms such as SA360, CM360, DV360, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.
  • Strategic ability to translate complex business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Storytelling and communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple business functions.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset, including enthusiasm for mentoring others.
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and 5+ years of industry-relevant experience; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Salary and work arrangement

  • Location: Cleveland, OH (onsite)
  • Pay: USD 91,000 - 202,800 per year
  • Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education.
  • This role is incentive eligible; payments are based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
