Job Description

Atlas Air is seeking an HR Data Analyst and Reporting professional to transform workforce data into actionable insights, build dashboards and reports, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership to support workforce planning and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze HR data from multiple systems, including Dayforce, applicant tracking systems, and engagement tools, to uncover trends and insights
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support workforce planning, turnover analysis, and organizational effectiveness
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on attrition, hiring, performance ratings, and compensation outcomes
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership
  • Explore opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to improve reporting efficiency, trend analysis, and insight generation
  • Support development of predictive and forward-looking workforce analytics capabilities
  • Build and maintain standardized and ad hoc reports for HR and business leaders
  • Design executive-level dashboards covering headcount, diversity, compensation, and hiring metrics
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs
  • Evaluate emerging analytics and visualization technologies, including AI-assisted reporting capabilities, to enhance decision-making
  • Support workforce planning efforts with data-driven insights such as headcount forecasting and vacancy trends
  • Analyze compensation and pay equity trends in partnership with the Compensation team
  • Support performance management analytics, including rating distributions and calibration insights
  • Maintain data quality standards and collaborate with HRIS to resolve data integrity issues
  • Support development of data definitions, governance frameworks, and reporting standards
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies
  • Partner with HR leaders across Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition to understand business needs
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve HR programs and processes
  • Support executive reporting and presentations with clear data storytelling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or a related role
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools is preferred
  • Exposure to AI-assisted analytics tools (eg, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Power BI AI capabilities) is preferred
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics concepts and workforce modeling is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
