Staff Accountant /Data Analyst (Junior Level)

ACG Green Group, Inc is hiring a junior Staff Accountant / Data Analyst to support AR/AP, reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and month-end close for a multi-brand home furnishings e-commerce and inventory business.

Responsibilities

• Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Maintain general ledger accounts for multiple entities
• Perform account reconciliations including cash, expenses, AP/AR, inventory, and COGS
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Assist with accounting for Amazon, Shopify, Wayfair, Faire, and other marketplaces
• Reconcile marketplace payouts, fees, chargebacks, and deductions
• Support inventory and COGS reconciliations
• Assist with land cost tracking (freight, duty, warehousing)
• Review vendor invoices and inbound shipment documentation
• Assist with U.S. sales tax filings and resale certificate tracking
• Maintain organized accounting and tax support schedules
• Support CPA firms with audit and tax data preparation
• Occasionally assist with AR/AP cycle support
• Perform accounting data variance analysis and error detection to reduce risk
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with system clean-up, documentation, and process improvements
• Perform ad-hoc accounting support as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles accepted)
• Understanding of general ledger and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel

• ERP exposure (NetSuite preferred, not required)
• Strong desire to learn and grow into a Senior Accountant role
