Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows across diverse data sources.
- Develop and optimize analytics data models, including star, snowflake, and data vault schemas.
- Establish data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure reliable downstream insights.
- Partner with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to convert analytical needs into technical specifications.
- Develop reusable, documented analytics code libraries and SDKs to accelerate self-service analytics.
- Adopt version control, testing, and CI/CD practices for data workflows.
- Assess emerging data technologies and propose enhancements to the analytics stack.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and privacy policies, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Design and maintain Tableau dashboards, KPI scorecards, and ad hoc querying tools for executive and operational audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in a STEM field with five or more years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related areas
- Masterβs degree with three or more years of related data or analytics engineering experience
- Strong command of SQL and Python
- Proficiency in building and deploying Tableau dashboards and translating business needs into visual insights
- Experience with version control systems and Agile software development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Active US Government Secret clearance required to apply, with ability to obtain SAP clearances
