CAI is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join the team onsite in Miramar, Florida. The role centers on tracking, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting IT Product Construction project performance, delivering insights on financial health, resource requirements, risk, and strategic alignment to support portfolio decisions. This contract position is based in Miramar and offers a compensation of USD 40 - 45 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Collect and review data from multiple project management systems to monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and schedules.
- Gather, validate, and analyze data related to schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Produce and share regular project reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate project performance to stakeholders.
- Identify trends and issues through data analysis and advise on corrective actions.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of project data across the PMO.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes based on data analysis and best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to enhance data collection and reporting methods.
- Assist project managers and teams with data-related tasks such as creating reports, analyzing data, and troubleshooting issues.
- Support the implementation of new reports, tools, and processes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation and data standards.
- Identify and analyze potential risks using project data and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Manage the budget for the scope you oversee and coordinate internal labor with Project Managers within the approved budget; maintain a solid understanding of accounting rules for expenses and capital activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of financial management experience, including forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close activities.
- At least 5 years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including power pivots, VLOOKUP, and nested formulas.
- At least 5 years of data analysis experience, preferably within a PMO or project environment.
- At least 5 years of experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- At least 5 years of experience communicating with stakeholders across the organization.
- At least 3 years of experience creating PowerPoint presentations and presenting to executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.

What You’ll Do

Physical Demands
