Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable big data systems that support core products and business needs
- Build and maintain data pipelines using optimal ETL patterns and frameworks, sourcing from structured and unstructured data to ensure accessible, usable data for teams across the organization
- Extract data from APIs, HIVE tables, and other sources to process and store large volumes with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and security
- Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and system documentation
- Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to streamline the development of data artifacts
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs and present key insights in meaningful ways
- Analyze and visualize data to provide business stakeholders with actionable insights
- Establish solid design and engineering practices for engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics and data engineering, including data cleaning, ingestion and ETL, data analysis, and dashboard development
- 1+ years of experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools

Compensation
Base salary range for this position in Seattle is USD 129,960 - 246,240 annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
