Build trusted supply chain data for analytics and internal applications at Blue Origin’s Operations Supply Chain Data Modeling team. This onsite role in Seattle, WA centers on creating foundational Databricks data models that act as a single source of truth for Supply Chain, enabling self-serve metrics for analysts and business users. You will work with upstream ET data, apply business logic and data quality rules, and help surface governed models in AWS-hosted web dashboards, KPIs, and operational tools.
Base pay range: USD 141,162 - 197,626 per year. WA applicants: $141,162.00 - $197,626.80 (other locations may differ).
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain core supply chain data models in Databricks based on ET-provided data, supporting the most widely used data assets across the Supply Chain organization.
- Apply supply chain business logic, transformations, and data quality rules to deliver accurate, trusted, and reusable models for downstream consumption.
- Create and maintain data products and semantic layers so supply chain analysts and business users can self-serve metrics and insights.
- Support AWS-hosted internal web applications that expose supply chain data models as dashboards, KPIs, and operational tools.
- Partner with ET data platform teams and supply chain stakeholders to define data contracts, onboard new data needs, participate in code reviews, and help establish team modeling standards.
- Develop with GitLab for version control and CI/CD, use VS Code as the primary development environment, and leverage AI-assisted tooling to increase modeling and pipeline development velocity.
