Tailored Brands is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for Marketing Analytics to partner with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders, evaluating performance, studying customer acquisition, and uncovering opportunities to attract, retain, and delight customers. This onsite role in Dublin, CA blends rigorous data work with practical business impact, turning insights into actionable marketing actions. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing teams and other stakeholders on marketing and customer analytics, delivering innovative insights and strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Interpret data to reveal trends, perform ad-hoc analyses, and identify opportunities within digital marketing efforts.
- Examine customer segments, churn, retention patterns, and purchasing behaviors.
- Create and streamline reporting and dashboards, focusing on the metrics that matter while proactively monitoring them; enhance data sources and automate processes to maximize time for high-value analyses.
- Own the analytics outcomes for marketing channel performance and optimization, partnering to define and prioritize a roadmap and execute to plan.
- Design, evaluate, and interpret tests and experiments to improve marketing performance and customer outcomes.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business actions, recommendations, and prioritized decisions that drive impact.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve data quality, standardized definitions, governance, tools, and approaches.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently based on impact to the business and customers.
- Present analyses in a clear, actionable way suitable for broad sharing, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Partner across Analytics to share learnings, align on methodologies, and leverage best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of analytics experience with progressive responsibility leading and presenting projects for cross-functional teams.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and support decision-making, including viable methodologies to QA AI outputs and assess reliability.
- Fluent in complex SQL queries and large-scale dataset transformations.
- Background in quantitative marketing analytics, including correlation, clustering, segmentation, regression, and marketing performance analysis.
- Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI) to create rich dashboards and insights.
- Strong ability to interpret data and turn it into actionable business actions, recommendations, and prioritized decisions.
- Solid business sense with the ability to balance analytical rigor with real-world tradeoffs to improve customer and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with marketing channels and external agencies across social, search, and display.
- Experience with A/B testing methodology, test design, measurement, and translating results into marketing actions.
- Familiarity with evaluating loyalty program performance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; acts as a bridge among business, analytics, and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to deliver highly complex analytics projects including methodology development, strategic recommendations, and presentation of findings.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Confluence.
- Confidence to acknowledge data limitations and communicate the limitations of analyses when data is imperfect.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.
